THE PLAY
La economía argentina is a musical-theater production and a small-to-medium Enterprise (SME) that goes out in search of investments and promotes its product on stage.
During the performance—using real machinery—we Will manufacture soap bars. At the same time, we will tell a story. The story of a small Argentine company. One that begins to exist, for now, on a stage. Everything you find in the Argentine economy will be present: negotiations, failures, inflation, strikes, and more negotiations.
And there will be songs too. After the show, for those interested, we’ll offer several investment options—from USD $1 to $1000—in the company, which will be set up in Buenos Aires after its theater run. Soaps under the brand The Argentine Economy will also be available for purchase.
THE COMPANY AND ITS NETWORK
After touring national and international theaters, The Argentine Economy will move into a workshop space in Buenos Aires to continue soap production for comercial sale. A percentage of the company’s profits will fund a public grant to support other small businesses. People connected to those ventures—workers, employees, and owners—will become part of a theater group with which we’ll create new plays.
