Parlamento is an investigation into the theatricality of contemporary political discourses. Through the observation of the staging of current politics, we imagine a dystopian scenario where a group of female deputies debate incessantly and circularly; while the Earth – or what remains of it – has become an abstraction, a “below”, a place besieged by flames.

From a ship that protects them from fire and keeps them orbiting in space, the representatives of Parliament in Global Orbit carry out their duties, sing hymns, vote for laws and desperately embrace the benefits of performance.
